Is the fixtures list about and who the hell is Fatty and the Argies? What a cool name!
20:15 this weekend eh, should be a good game, just need to be calm and confident and take our chances.

i would imagine alot are old teams with new names that were hoping to avoid being put in the first division.
'if' we do well enough this year - and i'm speaking hypothetically, how would you all feel about having a crack at the 1st division?
the way i understand it the mid table teams were all desperate to avoid the 1st division, but personally i would have been happy whatever division we are in - its a cliche but they say the only way to improve is by playing the best!

Yeah I agree, but this season with people leaving and morale at a real low at the end of last season, being the Top Div whipping boys could have ended us. I think this is our transition season, we need to go back to basics, back to learning how to beat keeps, and kill games off. The one real thing i'll take from last season, is the last game when we for once had a laugh, and it was something fun to do on a Sun evening, rather than run around shouting at friends and swearing at each other. It's a new era and a new start, lets fucking destroy the touchables.

i do agree.. but i also don't think i would have turned the challenge down.
anyway simple fact is we were never gonna be in the top division so as mat says this in my view is our transition year, better all round play and team work and consistency but above all else - win lose or draw lets have fun.

I think we should play our natural game, simple passing football at at a real high tempi, right from the off, crowd throw on, goal kicks everything, keep the ball down their end and lets shoot on sight!

I totally agree with coley there but i also think we shud try and spreed about abit more on our throws and corners a bit more to try and open the game up a bit. Basically make the most of the whole pitch.

Good point well made, if its a corner lets all get involved, and get options, but i'm a big believer in speed, if we take 10-15 secs, were gonna be covered, you pick the ball up, turn around and throw, which means we should be getting into positions before the thrower has the ball. COYG

I think it might help if before the game we talk about corners for example we say that 4 of us go forward and one stays back that way you do not have 2 people staying back covering leaving 3 forward who get crowded out of the box.
