great effort again tonight lads, we could have won it but equally we could have fucked it if it wasnt for si in goal.
all round i thought neil was quality up front but ben newman for all round effort and scoring wins it for me!

It was good, but in the second half we just sat in our half and that meant that we could reduce the pressure. Going forward in the first half was great as Blunden and newman worked forward well to support the attacks but in 6 aside we all need to be doing that cept maybe TC to hold in a sweepers position.
You listened well to my comments, had a sore throat by the end of the game, and was probably more nervous than any of you. It was good tracking and good talking between TC and Gaz to decide when to go and when not.
My only criticism was some poor passing and tighness.
With the passing we have to look up and take a bit of time , as a sloppy pass in our half creates an attack for the other side, that must be worked on.
The defence sat off the attackers quite a lot, and TC as your not as quick you need to be tight to the defenders breathing down their neck. Have a hold of the shirt or whatever, concede a professional foul if needs, but if the guy has time to turn and run at you its more than likely that he'll get round you. So sitting right on the back of the guy, give him no space and snap at his heels.
Solid performance over all, great keeping and much better pressure. I think it's important to have someone on the sidelines urging you on and keeping you going as we have a habit of relaxing and letting things slip.
The major turning point was the pace in midfield, Blunden is quicker than Kinch and it shows as there was the extra man in attack. With maybe martin and keeno on the bench to come on and push late on, would have been a win!
By the way this weeks winner for the worst shot is Ben for his effort that nearly cleared the fence, congratulations Ben.

It has to go to Si. Even though Ben played well & got the luck for the goal, if it wasn't for the keeper we could have been whooped by at least another 3 goals!!! Played Si u were one fire Bruv.......

yep, agree with you nigel! colsey made some great stops!
was a good effort all round, and agree with matt, we definately look better when we hold a higher line & get an extra man forward - be it myself or TC, just gives the extra option
